Process Engineer
Position Summary
The selected applicant will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of Engineering projects by demonstrating effective leadership and the ability to direct large project teams comprised of experienced associates from multiple disciplines.
Position Skills & Qualifications Desired
Solid knowledge of design and construction contracts, schedules, cost estimating and the design process
Must process demonstrated analytical abilities and be able to develop logical solutions to opportunities as they develop
Ability to maintain focus and direction in a fast paced environment
Must have good problem solving skills
Must be proven team player that utilizes coaching and company values to meet and exceed customer expectations
Proficiency in MS office Software
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project or similar engineering software
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be available days, nights, and weekends as required by business needs
Engineering knowledge such as process validation, process flows and layouts, statistical process control, and cost benefit analysis
Technical Management skills
Process improvement methodologies and capabilities
Ability to be a productive team member in both formal and informal settings while developing team creativity and innovation
Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills
Bias for change
Ability to travel approximately 30%-50%
Experience in food processing, food safety equipment or related manufacturing environment
Knowledge of SharePoint
Food safety equipment, process design, and contractor or employee management
Leadership experience
Construction management experience
Project management certifications or relevant experience
Position Experience Qualifications
7-9 years' experience in similar manufacturing environment
2-5 years' experience leading large-scale facilities design projects to successful conclusions in an industrial processing, retail or office environment
2-5 years of cost estimating
Position Education & Training Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field of study
