Summary:
Responsible for setting up labor and overseeing labor personnel.
This individual will have the ability to set up and operate equipment and make necessary adjustments to maintain labor efficiency, quality, and safety.
Key attributes for this position are the ability to motivate, educate, and lead labor personnel; a high level of initiative and follow-through; good mathematical skills; detail oriented and good communication skills.
Job Function Statements -
Essential Functions:
Maintain labor efficiency to meet production goals.
Ability to communicate objectives to the labor and report results to production management team.
Control expenditures within the operations budget related to labor.
Help implement solutions to support daily results improvement in safety, quality, cost and reliability.
Coordinate and oversee the daily temporary employees assigned to the production line, this includes setting up each new job on the line and assigning temporary employees on every line setup, based on the schedule, needs and direction of fruit department leadership.
Perform safety briefings at the beginning of every shift.
Check in and out all temporary employees.
Perform training on specific functions as needed.
Drive overall improvements to current systems to enable sustained performance in these areas.
Document production activities according to company policies.
Understand and follow SOP and GMP guide labors.
Work effectively with a diverse customer group (production labor workers, production supervisor, production manager, maintenance, quality, etc.
) to understand and meet/exceed their expectations and achieve desired business results.
Make sure that documentation is turned into HR daily.

Required Qualifications/Skills:
High school diploma or GED required.
At least 2-3 years working in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of GMP, computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Be able to follow written and verbal direction, have basic computer knowledge, understand and follow standard operating procedures, and have basic mathematic skills.
Must be able to work closely with and in cooperation with supervision and peers.
Computer literate.
Quick learner.
Works effectively under pressure.
Hands-on and participative.
Delegates effectively.
Strong multitasking skills.
Challenges assumptions enthusiastically and maintains positive working relationships.
Be a team member in the quality improvement process.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
