We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Athletic Trainer to join our team and provide comprehensive athletic training services to our student-athletes for a College University.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring the smooth operation of our athletic training facilities.

Key
Responsibilities:
Provide athletic training coverage for scheduled team practices and home, as well as away competitions when necessary.
Deliver a full spectrum of athletic training services, including prevention, recognition, evaluation, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning of athletic injuries.
Collaborate closely with physicians and allied health professionals to ensure appropriate care and referrals for student-athletes.
Supervise the daily operations and maintenance of athletic training facilities to uphold high standards of safety and efficiency.
Execute administrative duties related to athletic training, including NCAA, conference, and institutional reporting requirements.
Implement and enforce policies and procedures outlined in the Athletic Training Room manual, fostering a culture of accountability and professionalism.
Maintain accurate medical records for all injuries, treatments, and referrals, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Serve as a liaison between student-athletes, coaches, parents, and healthcare providers, facilitating clear communication and coordination of care.
Work collaboratively with coaches to ensure student-athletes participate safely and adhere to medical recommendations.
Collect and manage student-athletes' contact information, emergency contacts, health insurance, and consent forms.
Provide preventive care through the application of protective measures and assist in designing injury-prevention strategies.
Offer immediate care for athletic injuries and facilitate referrals to emergency medical facilities when necessary.
Educate athletes on health-related topics, including nutrition and substance abuse prevention.
Operate within the rules and regulations of the University, NCAA, and relevant athletic conferences, maintaining compliance at all times.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field (Master's preferred).
Certification by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC).
Current state licensure as an Athletic Trainer.
CPR/AED certification.
Strong clinical skills and experience in athletic injury management and rehabilitation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records and adhering to regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development in sports medicine.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to provide comprehensive coverage for athletic events and practices.
